The Sd.Kfz.251 German halftrack family was widely employed throughout
WWII. One of the more potent family members was the Sd.Kfz.251/22, which
boasted a 7.5cm PaK40 cannon mounted in the rear. Production kicked off
in December 1944 in answer to a call from Hitler for as many antitank
guns as possible to be installed on mobile platforms. These Sd.Kfz.251/22s were issued to panzer divisions, although the actual
number produced remains unclear.

There is an impressive level of detail visible in the open-topped
fighting compartment, including the capable 7.5cm PaK40 main armament
that was designed to take on enemy armor. Aside from all this delicious
detail, another enhancement is the convenience of EZ-Track, which
negates the need for repetitive cutting, sanding and assembly. This 1/35
scale kit is a high-powered member of Dragon’s Sd.Kfz.251 family, and it’s willing and ready to take on any modeler!
